About My Clients
Welcome to my page! I am a therapist specializing neurodiversity, specifically late diagnosis. I myself was late diagnosed, and I have a passion for helping others navigate the emotional experience of understanding this part of yourself. ADHD doesn't just show up in academic settings, it shows up in how we are in relationships, how we communicate, regulate our emotions, and how we perceive sensory input. Understanding your neurotype better can be incredibly powerful.
My Background and Approach
Many people with ADHD have attachment trauma from being told that they are lazy, unmotivated, or if they just tried harder they would be successful. They are often identified as the problem at school or in their family systems at a young age. I am here to help you process your trauma so you can alter beliefs about yourself that no longer serving you. In addition to my work with ADHD, I also work with the following issues/populations: depression, anxiety, trauma, late diagnosis autism, teens, couples (affirming of all relationship configurations), LGBTQIA+ issues. I have day and evening availability and provide sessions in-person and virtually. To book a consultation, go to LetsWanderPsychotherapy.com
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value above all else, creating a safe place where you can be your authentic self (or learn what that might be). I believe the more safe and secure we feel in our relationships with others, the more we are free to explore all of the complexities of our identities.
