About My Clients
I'm passionate for counseling from a sex-positive approach and creating an accepting space to connect with your intimate values and identity. I empower individuals to express their authentic selves by embracing their sexual diversity surrounding concerns of sex, sexuality, gender identity, & relationships. I'm a LGBTQIA+, kink, poly, and sex worker affirming therapist.
My Background and Approach
I created Flourishing Affinity Counseling in the hopes to give people a space to feel safe, heard, understood, and affirmed while navigating their concerns surrounding sex, relationships, and sexuality. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. I completed post graduate training in sexual health at the University of Michigan's Sex Therapy program to become a certified sex therapist. I am also a registered yoga teacher and incorporate mind/body teachings to clients navigating their concerns. My clinical approach to counseling is warm, understanding, and also challenging. I used evidence based practices pulled from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Sensate Focus Therapy to help navigate thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Your therapy is unique to you and your goals. Together we will navigate and work towards growth, acceptance, empowerment, and achievement.

Flourishing Affinity Counseling is a sex positive space that is affirming to members of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, kink, poly, CNM, and sex worker communities.
