About My Clients
I work with all kinds of people, so if you feel drawn to my profile please reach out! I do also have some sub-specialties, which are 1) young adults (16-28), 2) coaching for parents, and 3) early Autism assessment to toddlers ages 1-3 years.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clincial psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. My clinical approach is eclectic and pulls from most major theoretical approaches. I work collaboratively with clients to find the best approach for them. I offer treatment that is practical, and focuses on what you can immediately to do improve things, as well as exploring historical influences on your current concerns. My goal is always to create a safe and supportive, yet challenging environment to discourage stagnation. While I provide on-going therapy, we always work on developing goals together so that you will know when you have completed the work you set out to do. Parent work is always time limited from the start.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe in the humanity of all persons. I acknowledge my own privileges and aim to learn, grow, and do better every day. I am a fat white cis woman. I am a mother of two children and have two cats. I love plants and gardening, cooking and baking, and dancing.
