About My Clients
Anyone curious about their experience is welcome at my practice. I specialize in supporting people through addiction and behavior change. I offer trans, nonbinary, queer, and BIPOC identified individuals a space that is responsive to their experiences of marginalization and trauma. In our work together we will always center your goals. We have the opportunity to process trauma and make meaningful change from the container of our therapeutic relationship.
My Background and Approach
I work from a somatic trauma informed perspective that is based in attachment theory and neuroscience. I prioritize client safety, making sure you feel empowered and safe in our work together even when we encounter challenging topics. My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are in a genuine and authentic way. In addition to somatic and attachment work specialties, I have extensive training in behavioral addiction to support change with shopping, internet use, gambling and gaming and substance use. I meet the qualifications for a Certified Gambling Addictions Counselor II (CGAC II) in Oregon. I would love to connect and see if we might be a good fit to pursue therapeutic work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Mindfulness and embodiment inform my work as a mental health provider, herbalist, and artist. I believe strongly in the healing power of relationships with others and the world around us. Therapy is a great tool for making meaning and finding ease. I believe we need connection to others, nature, and community to thrive. I'd love to work with you to assess and rework aspects of your life to fully support you being your authentic self.
