About My Clients
When we've experienced trauma or abuse, it can be difficult to be open, honest, and vulnerable. Your relationship with your therapist should make you feel seen, heard, understood, and respected. It's important that you feel safe, supported, and valued in the work you do together.
My Background and Approach
My therapy style is relational-cultural, which just means that we build a strong link and learn about you, side by side. We explore your identities, past experiences, beliefs, patterns, goals, culture, and the systems you’ve been a part of to include family, community, educational, vocational, ancestral, historical, religious, etc. My personal style is casual, curious, humorous, and transparent. I provide therapy from a person-centered, culturally responsive, inclusive, anti-oppression, and radically affirming framework.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
