About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who live in Missouri. We may be a strong fit if you are searching to build a better relationship with yourself and the world around you. This may include navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors, self-esteem, disordered patterns of eating, or substance use.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Graduate Certificate in Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is a Counselor In Training (CIT). I have experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages and specialize in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and trauma. I also specialize in working with disordered eating and substance use. I enjoy working with clients who are seeking to better their relationships both with themselves and the world around them. My therapeutic style is compassionate, direct, and person-centered and draws from relational-cultural therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing in order to meet clients wherever they are on their healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
To me, therapy is an inclusive and non-judgmental relationship where you can show up authentically and unapologetically yourself, no matter how complex and lonely your emotions might feel. Therapy is a space to connect with another on a profoundly human level to explore, learn, and grow. A place where humor, tears, challenges, and most importantly, healing are all welcomed.
