About My Clients
I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, and working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Since trauma often co-occurs and can cause other difficulties, I have had the pleasure of working with clients who were struggling with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, bipolar, suicidal ideation and substance use.
My Background and Approach
I earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires and completed a Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use a mix of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to collaborating with clients to address their challenges and explore their values. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and aims to support them in their personal growth and healing. I have volunteered for many years as a victim advocate in New York and have worked professionally as a Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate in New Jersey. I am passionate about working to end sexual violence and supporting survivors. I am engaged in working with and increasing awareness of non-consensual image-based violence as well, and have written my undergraduate thesis on this topic.- I strive to be an empathetic and non-judgmental clinician, and have had the privilege of working with clients with extremely diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
