About My Clients

Clients age 16+ navigate the complexities of trauma, including experiences like abuse, moral injury, and grief. Lynette provides a compassionate space for healing and promises to be a faithful witness to your journey. With a focus on mindfulness, Lynette integrates these practices into sessions, helping you find peace and resilience as you work through overwhelming feelings, self-esteem issues, and more. Her approach fosters a sense of safety and empowerment for a better, more-balanced future.

My Background and Approach

Lynette offers talk- and skills-based therapies, integrating EMDR to create a unique and effective healing experience. This combination allows her clients to achieve faster relief from their symptoms while engaging in meaningful conversation and skill development. Lynette’s holistic approach helps clients navigate their trauma with depth and efficiency.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

After more than 20 years in Corporate America, Lynette chose to walk away and pursue more meaningful work in human services. Lynette obtained a Masters in Social Work and immersed herself in progressive and liberal causes promoting the Black Lives Matter Movement, the LGBTQ+ community, and Voting Rights. Lynette loves fur-babies and is working with a Bernedoodle puppy to get him trained as a facility therapy dog at the Castleton Ellie. Lynette volunteers as a dog trainer assistant with Paws & Think. Lynette advocated for Suicide Prevention by partnering with the AFSP and participated in the 2024 Out of the Darkness walk. Lynette experienced the loss of a relative by suicide and has lived with a household member struggling with suicidal thoughts and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors. Lynette was raised Catholic, though is not religious nor actively practicing. After witnessing the judgmental perspective of Catholic teachings, Lynette choses to teach love and humanity.
