About My Clients
The majority of my clients are LGBTQIA+ teens and adults. I love to help individuals explore their gender identity and/or sexuality. In addition, I help those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, neurodivergence, and general life stressors. I have experience and training working with individuals and couples in open relationships and polycules. I look forward to getting to know each of my clients and providing them with a safe-space to explore their identity and emotions.
My Background and Approach
With over six years of experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals in rural communities, I acknowledge and understand the unique challenges that come with being queer in the south. I have experience supporting people through depression, anxiety, life transitions, religious trauma, grief, and PTSD. I recognize that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, so I do my best to take a down-to-earth approach to help clients feel at ease and supported throughout their journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the right to affirming and empathetic care, and that no one should worry whether or not their therapist is accepting of who they are. I am a actively involved in my local queer community, and I am a loud advocate for marginalized communities. I am a proud liberal who votes blue, and I will always be open about my political beliefs so that my clients never has to guess where I stand.
