About My Clients
Every person carries “stuff” on their journey through life. You know, stuff – insecurities, being bullied, tough relationships, traumatic events, anything. Whether you’re carrying a lot or a little, for a week or a decade, you deserve a space where you can acknowledge how that weight has affected you. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to unpack your stuff, help you understand it better, and then empower you to decide where your path goes from there.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is primarily trauma-informed and person-centered, with an additional focus on the relationship between the body and mind. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients to address an even wider range of topics, and I’ve taken great care to appreciate each one as an individual. Whether this is your first time in therapy or your fiftieth time, I look forward to walking this part of your journey with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everything I do is rooted in love for my fellow humans and the world we live in (including its creatures). I believe that Black lives matter, that no human being is illegal, and that no one is free while others are oppressed. I identify as bisexual and ally fiercely with my LGBTQ+ siblings. I strive to live in a way that cares for nature and appreciates its beauty and wonder. Additionally, I've had my own fair share of trials and tribulations that led to my own therapeutic work, including EMDR. My goal is to share the healing that I experienced in therapy with as many people as I can.
