Using a patient centered approach we will work together to bridge the gap between where you are in your adventure and where you want to be. I have a passion for working in expressive arts, existentialism, trauma informed care, EMDR, disability, first break psychosis, the LGBTQIA population and retirees.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about therapy and the positive impact it has on people's emotional, spiritual, and physical health. I am client centered and focus on your values and goals as the guideposts for our work together. You drive the bus. I have worked in the field for 21 years in a wide range of roles- (inpatient, outpatient, residential, day treatment, hospital and mobile crisis roles) all of which informs my dynamic approach. Using the values and belief system of the client I am working with I assist them in moving towards their life's ambition. In an environment where big medical is moving to shorten care and scoot patients out the door- I am in it for the long haul to help patients heal and maintain wellness.
