About My Clients

I have been privileged to be entrusted with helping people to navigate some of their most vulnerable concerns including relationship conflicts, family of origin concerns, identity development, grief work, adjustment difficulties, and the many forms of oppression that undermine healing in individuals, families, and communities.

My Background and Approach

I earned my Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill after over a decade working in and with community support organizations. My approach involves working collaboratively with clients to address challenges while incorporating emancipatory therapeutic practices such as self-reflection, creative expression, and developing critical awareness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that suffering is amplified when endured alone, so it is my goal to work alongside clients toward their goals and their fullest selves. As a Black, Queer, Trans, Neurodivergent, and Chronically Ill therapist, I understand how daunting it can be to seek support in a healthcare system that frequently inflicts or exacerbates the harms that we are trying to heal from. I look to my professional values as a guideline to reduce harm, while following the examples of Black Feminist, Queer Rights, and Neurodiversity movement work.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
