About My Clients
Are you chronically overwhelmed? Do you constantly worry about eating the "right" things? Do you put high expectations on yourself to achieve, then beat yourself up if you don't meet those expectations? Whether it's big stress, big feelings, or big competitions, I can help. Most clients come to see me for anxiety, sport psychology, and eating disorders.
My Background and Approach
As a former Division I gymnast, I understand the pressure felt by high-achievers and perfectionists. I help strivers worry less so they have more space to achieve their dreams. My clients describe me as warm, well-attuned, and skilled. I love to connect with people in a meaningful way and empower others to live their best life. As a doctoral-level psychologist, I bring an elite level of expertise and training. This advanced level of expertise is well-worth the investment. Our work will help you feel more confident in yourself, more poised under pressure, and more capable. You will feel free from rules and perfectionism. You won't let your weight define you. You will know your worth isn't dependent on your achievements. In therapy, we will work together to identify your strengths and values, and help you learn valuable skills to improve your life. Break free from worry and expectations today.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a deep commitment to social justice, basic human rights, universal healthcare, and equitable treatment for all people. My guiding principles are rooted in a feminist framework. My feminist values are central to my worldview and clinical work, shaping how I approach issues of power, privilege, and intersectionality in all areas of oppression (not just gender equality). I embrace an intersectional feminist approach that acknowledges how different forms of discrimination intersect and compound. I am committed to dismantling oppressive systems in various spaces, including athletics and performance spaces.
