About My Clients
I have experience working with folks (individuals, couples, or families) facing anxiety or burnout in life, or dealing with instability in relationships and hoping for more security. Together, we can work to create more balance in your life, make sense of difficult relationships, own and advocate for your feelings and needs, and identify and set boundaries with others.
My Background and Approach
I work through a systemic, trauma-informed lens and draw from a few approaches including EFT/Attachment-Based, IFS, and psychodynamic. Together we will uncover some of your natural strengths and hopes towards change. We will explore some of the patterns in your relationship to better understand how you show up and move through the world, and work to uncover greater authenticity and balance. Being willing to come to therapy and face your own self-work is a monumental step that takes its own kind of bravery. It is truly hard work to show up and witness yourself sometimes, especially when you are not feeling your best. When you find yourself ready to begin (or continue) that process, I will be here to walk through it with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer and poly-identifying therapist, I am also very passionate about working with others in the queer community or those in or exploring non-traditional relationship structures. Whether you are queer or non-monogamous or not, authenticity is very important to me and something I strive to make space for with all my clients. It's my hope that you feel seen and encouraged to show up as your authentic self in the room, and that that authenticity will then reverberate out into your daily life. Together, we can cultivate greater self-compassion and self-awareness in who you are.
