About My Clients
I provide an affirming space that allows my clients to accept all parts of themselves, and celebrate their identities. I specialize in working with young adults, including college students and young professionals, who are queer-identified and/or neurodivergent. Often I work with clients around life transitions, trauma, depression/anxiety, minority stress, grief, harm reduction, religious trauma and more!
My Background and Approach
I love learning about new therapeutic techniques, the nervous system, and exploring new research, but I know that there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy. The most important thing for me is to offer empathy, validation, and acknowledgement that you are the expert on yourself! We will work together at your own pace, building a relationship that feels safe and supportive. I bring a social justice lens to my work, which means naming in sessions many of the ways this world makes it harder to thrive. I welcome the hard things you might carry into our time together but also humor, creativity, or any other way you need to show up on a given day.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in respecting the autonomy and self-determination of all people. I am an active member of the LGBTQ+, neurodivergence, and disability rights communities and have done work around anti-racism, abolition, and mutual aid.
