About My Clients
As a Licensed Social Worker, I have been trained to provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with families facing housing insecurity and children with developmental challenges such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, behavioral issues, and learning disabilities. Clients I have served have sought support for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, parenting education, C-PTSD, and interpersonal conflict.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Social Worker, I have been trained to provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. After graduating magna cum laude from Rutgers University, I spent time in the corporate sector before completing my masters in social work at the University of Central Florida. I approach each client with a thorough, holistic approach that takes into account their individual goals, mental health history, practical needs, values, and circumstances. Modalities I have found helpful in supporting this process include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, Gestalt play therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and a strengths-based approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapeutic process is based in trust, mutual respect, and honoring the client’s decision to seek support, positive growth, and healing.
