About My Clients
Living with chronic conditions, disabilities, and neurodivergence can be very challenging in a world that doesn't always understand these circumstances. Having to constantly adapt to a world that wasn't designed with your needs in mind can have a significant impact on both your emotional and physical well-being. If you're also queer and transgender, these challenges can become even more overwhelming, and you might feel entirely isolated without the support you deserve.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with individuals across the gender spectrum who are also navigating the intersections of neurodivergence, chronic illness, and body grief. I use a trauma-informed, social justice-oriented, and fat-affirming approach to individual therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Many individuals with chronic conditions may internalize societal messages that suggest they are alone and shouldn't need accommodations. In therapy, I create a secure and understanding environment where clients can explore and challenge these beliefs, recognizing that their experiences are shaped by societal norms, rather than individual failings.
