About My Clients
My clients are often the first in their family's of origin to have the courage to address their trauma or unhealthy patterns. They've often experienced invalidating environments, felt unsafe in a myriad of ways, and have decided that they are worthy of leading a healed and whole life. I enjoy working with others who are curious, willing, and open to the process. My services are available to adults, teens, and children 8+.
My Background and Approach
I am an Arkansas born, Nashville native of 7 years. I am the middle child of a big, loud, and lovingly chaotic family where I learned my grounded-ness and laid back nature. I became a therapist because I am endlessly fascinated by the human experience and connecting with other people through their stories. I am a life-long learner and am constantly broadening what I know about therapy and how it can offer relief for my clients. I currently love using EMDR, IFS, and mindful self-awareness tools in session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I deeply love what I do and I hope that shows up in the space between us. I consider most difficult moments in life an invitation to practice something that likely does not come naturally for you: letting go of control, allowing yourself to experience your emotions without being consumed, or creating safety in your body following a trauma. I believe there is no such thing as "too late" for anyone. I find that building a relationship with my clients based on vulnerability, trust, and mutual understanding is the catalyst for the work we do together. I invite you to join me in the process of removing the barriers in your path keeping you from living out your one wild and precious life. When I’m not providing therapy, I love watching Schitt’s Creek, trying to keep my indoor plants alive, hiking with my wife and our dogs, and listening to the incredible live music our city has to offer.
