About My Clients

Seeking therapy or mental health counseling is a brave and arduous step in your healing journey. My goal is to make it as soothing and comforting as possible through a person-centered and strength-based approach; to allow the most growth to occur for you to reach your goals. The most recurring themes that I’ve worked with include managing depression and anxiety, developing self-concept and improving self-esteem, and gender-affirming care with the LGBTQIA+ community.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed creative arts therapist, trained in utilizing the visual arts to assist in the therapeutic process with a Master’s degree in Creativity Development and Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute. As a cat lover and avid Minecraft player, I use my personal experience with over two decades of social anxiety to guide others on the journey to healing and self-discovery. Working with me will include trauma-informed care, meaning it will be an empathetic, accommodating, and collaborative environment to establish trust and safety. We will work collaboratively to enhance the tools you need to improve your mental health, including the use of your imagination to get control over your body and thoughts.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
