My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating perfectionism, self-esteem, grief, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, career, and stress-related issues, focusing on teens and young adults (16-35 years old). My approach to counseling is client-centered and strengths-based so I encourage you to show up as you are! You deserve to take up space as you are the expert of your life. We will work collaboratively in processing past experiences to help you move forward. I support individuals in their desire to heal inner wounds by utilizing an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT) in the therapy sessions. I am a lover of music and pop culture so you will often see me provide opportunities to utilize creative interventions for reflection.
