About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults navigating life transitions, managing mood disorders, or healing from trauma. Many feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of the path forward. I specialize in psychological testing, not just to diagnose conditions like ADHD but to help individuals better understand themselves—their strengths, struggles, and patterns that shape their experiences. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Psy.D. and have worked in private practice since 2008, specializing in dual diagnosis, trauma, and life transitions. I work from a psychodynamic perspective, recognizing how the unconscious mind and childhood experiences shape our adult lives. However, my approach is integrative, tailoring therapy to each person’s needs. In sessions, we’ll go beyond surface-level issues, exploring your thoughts and emotions to foster self-discovery and growth. Therapy isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about uncovering meaning, building authentic connections, and empowering you to become your best self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m an open-minded, non-judgmental therapist dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for all clients. I’ve worked as a therapist at AIDS Project LA and am a strong ally of the LGBTQ community. My experience spans a wide range of settings, from drug rehab centers on Skid Row to luxury treatment centers in Malibu and the Hollywood Hills. I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and respect. My work is rooted in inclusivity, understanding, and a commitment to personal growth and healing.
