I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, relational concerns, ASD, gender identity, sexual identity, grief, performance (sports) anxiety, and more. I work from a holistic perspective viewing all of my clients as healthy individuals needing to make adjustments to life's ongoing challenges.
My Background and Approach
Life experiences impact our mental health in many different ways. I am a therapist committed to supporting the unique needs of each individual through a holistic perspective and building a collaborative relationship with each client. I strive to support each person based on their own intersectional needs, characteristics, contexts, and histories. With a mindfulness based practice, I seek to provide a safe and nonjudgmental relationship to explore strengths and goals to build coping skills to deal with various life challenges. I work with clients from a relational cultural theory, exploring relationships within one's life as well as messages heard that effect our way of being and way of seeing ourselves and our concerns. From a mindfulness and strengths based perspective, I collaborate with clients to ensure we meet your unique needs in ways that feel meaningful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Becoming aware of our circumstances with acceptance and compassion can help support the process of growth and change. With a background in yoga and the contemplative studies I use mindful awareness and compassion to support clients towards their own unique goals.
