Hi! I’m glad you’re here. You must be feeling relieved to know you have found someone who can help you get out of your funk!

Clinical Social Worker in Saint Louis, MO

About My Clients

Are you already feeling overwhelmed thinking about the start of the school year? Feeling like you don't know how you will keep everything organized or that the transition might be hard on you? Overwhelming feelings are causing you to shut down because you just don't know where to start, and then it makes the problem worse because things are piling up. It feels like no matter what you have tried, nothing seems to be sticking! If this sounds like you, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

My Background and Approach

My mission is to empower you to learn and understand ways that you can channel your energy to increase self-awareness, happiness, and productivity. Through evidence-based practices and a strength-based, compassionate approach, you will develop tools for the future that will help you make real and lasting change. Therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach. Your story is unique and requires attention to the details that are important to you. Together, we will create goals that allow YOU to be in the driver’s seat. Topics and priorities for your sessions will be guided by you and what your goals are for treatment. My job in our work together is to assist you in learning more about yourself and feel as comfortable as possible during sessions, be it in the office or by Telehealth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I became a therapist because I had the best mentor growing up, and throughout my own journey, I learned the importance of having a good therapist. I am someone who is laid back, relatable, and believes in the value of hard work balanced with fun. At age 19, I was diagnosed with ADHD after my first year of college, and it sent me on a whirlwind journey to be an ADHD therapist. I learned so much while I was figuring out life for myself and how to manage, and realized after doing therapeutic work with clients, that it was neurodiversity that interested me most. I love my job and seeing my clients progress to their "a-ha!" moments. I feel grateful to do this work everyday. For more information about me, please visit my website: www.rachelkalinalcsw.com.
