About My Clients
My work is often centered around identity, including the different parts of you that may be wounded, need cared for, and are calling out for growth. If you are neurodivergent and feeling stuck in a neuro-typical world, wanting to explore and deepen your LGBTQIA+ identity, or floundering in your relationship, we may be a good match. I find careers are often places of identity struggle as well, and love working with artists, professors/teachers, and healthcare workers.
My Background and Approach
Curiosity, empathy, and creativity are the main things I bring into our therapeutic relationship. I am innately curious about people. It is my belief that each person has their own story which is influenced by their experiences, culture, background, and an array of multi-dimensional components. Throughout sessions, we will utilize an integrated therapy model to empower the exploration of emotions, thoughts, and experiences that impact you. I believe in creating an empathetic and authentic space where you can show up as you are. It is truly an honor to sit with you as your story unfolds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is best when we each show up authentically, which is why I strive to create an environment where you can bring yourself and your full story into our sessions. I work with compassionate honesty, and will hold space for your emotions while challenging you to examine your own patterns and struggles. This is true in individual and couples work. Within the couples space, I am supportive of multiple relationship dynamics, including LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, CNM, and monogamous couples. I often work with people who are childfree by choice/dual income no kids, but also support partners with children. There is space in our sessions for you to be who you are and make steps towards who you are becoming.
