About My Clients
My clients come from diverse backgrounds including LGBTQIA+, creative professionals and artists, both as individuals and for couples & family therapy. Many come in with hopes of getting out of the grips of: past trauma & early childhood wounding, sexual trauma, depression & anxiety, and with the goals of living a more fulfilling and self-crafted life full of self-confidence and deep connections with family, friends & loved ones.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT 107071), and I graduated from Pacifica Graduate Institute with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. As a somatic psychotherapist I have seen that by including the body, mind, and spirit profound change and healing can occur. This often creates deep self-compassion and ease from previously painful experiences, and is effective for a range of clients. I earned by BFA in sculpture and find that creative nature to so valuable in this healing work. My approach is active, insightful, and caring. I create a nurturing and safe space for you to engage in your personal work and healing. I am also LGBTQIA & Sex positive. I value individuality and expression, difference and compassion, nonviolent communication and collaboration.
