My Background and Approach
My approach is non-traditional. And my clients really like that. I see myself as your guide & fellow traveler on this journey of discovery & healing. I believe that the best healing work is holistic. Meaning, we tend to you as a WHOLE person. We connect to all aspects of you: mentally, physically, emotionally, & spiritually to see what is needing tending to. Our work together works from what's known as a "bottom-up" perspective, meaning we look at where you learned to act the way you do, respond to things the way you do, and show up the ways you do. Together, we tenderly learn about YOU. Then we go deep. Tending to all the parts of you that are in need & want of healing through talk therapy, reiki energy healing, brainspotting, inner child/inner parts work, meditation and anything else that feels compassionate & aligned with YOUR needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Like you, I am many things. A CA licensed Marriage + Family Therapist, a lover of nature, a heart-centered woman, a Reiki Master, a wife (for the second time) & more. I help people who look like they have it all together on the outside, but who are dying inside to get out of their heads and into their bodies so they can stop feeling stuck, lonely and unfulfilled in life. I offer traditional attachment-based psychotherapy, brainspotting, and Reiki healing sessions. I also create Sacred Space gatherings for heart-centered, spiritual, sensitive folx yearning for community, connection and healing. My mission is to walk alongside you on you unique journey to live the most fulfilling life. I'm a fierce advocate for making the absolute MOST out of this one precious life, in ways that make sense for YOU. I feel most at home & grounded in nature - so if you’re ever hiking in or around Southern California you will probably catch me on a local trail, saying hello to my fellow travelers.
