About My Clients
I work with people struggling to find effective ways to handle life events and big emotions. As people go through major life events, pressures of getting older, and unprecedented times, sometimes stress, anger, hopelessness, and other emotions become too much to handle alone. I believe that you are your own best storyteller and I want to work to help you to reach your goals.
My Background and Approach
While all people are trying their best and want to build healthy and happy lives, the resources and skills to do so can feel out of reach. I use a multitude of modalities including expressive arts, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma informed approaches, and more to help you reach your goals while fitting your therapy to your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a person with lived experience as a fat, Black, disabled, neurodivergent, queer woman I find it important to be open, affirming, and authentic in my practice. I strive to create an environment in therapy that allows my clients to unmask and feel safe and confident in being their most authentic self. I find this is best done by being my most authentic self.
