If you grew up in a challenging or unstable environment, it’s no surprise you’re feeling stuck—whether it’s struggling with people-pleasing, blurred boundaries, or navigating the impacts of relational trauma. These patterns can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to sort through them alone. I help clients untangle the connection between their past relationships and present struggles, using an insight-driven approach to uncover the “why” behind your behaviors.
My Background and Approach
In our sessions, you can be your true self—no holding back, and yes, you can swear! I won’t sugarcoat things because you get that enough outside of therapy. If I notice something that needs to change, I’ll call you out on it. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship that helps you build the deeper, more fulfilling connections you desire. Grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Developmental Psychology, and Attachment Theory, I help clients explore how early experiences have shaped their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. By understanding these developmental influences, we can work together to heal old wounds, shift ingrained patterns, and foster a deeper connection to yourself and others. I have advanced training in ADHD, trauma, and perinatal mental health, allowing me to provide specialized support for individuals navigating the complexities of neurodiversity, healing from past experiences, or adjusting to the transitions of parenthood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to providing culturally competent and safe care to all populations, especially those identifying with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, poly, and kink communities. As a white therapist, I am cognizant that systems of oppression are present everywhere and I am committed to the ongoing antiracism work needed to address how these systems impact my own work.
