About My Clients
I work with children and teens, young adults, couples, and families, who want to work on anxiety, self-esteem, body image, social skills, relationship concerns, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and life transitions (breakups, pregnancy, new parents, new job/loss of job, etc). My clients seek to better understand their connection to others, and most importantly, themselves. I work best with clients looking for a direct, yet compassionate and warm approach.
My Background and Approach
I recently graduated with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, where I worked in community-based mental health as an intern. I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families from many different backgrounds. I also have experience leading children’s groups in Philadelphia public schools focusing on emotional regulation and social skills. I use many different techniques and modalities in my work such as; Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Every client is unique, so I tailor my approach towards each of my clients and their needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am queer-affirming and am passionate about working with individuals within the LGBTQ community. I offer reduced rates for LGBTQ individuals. I am also passionate about working with women’s issues.
