If you are feeling lost, unsure of where you want your life to go, or just in need of a space free of judgment to process current or past struggles, my office may be the space for you. My aim is to provide a safe and accepting space for you to process and work through your depression, anxiety, trauma, gender dysphoria, queer identity, struggles caused by disabilities, or simply the struggles of living day-to-day in a fast-paced society that does not give us the breathing room we deserve.
My Background and Approach
Everyone works at a different pace, and I will work with you at the pace you need to achieve your goals and develop coping strategies that are best suited to your needs. I use combined person-centered and eclectic approaches to meet you where YOU are and build a support plan that you are comfortable with. My general session style involves talking through the issues you are facing, and reaching a solution together while I ask guiding or clarifying questions so we can reach the root of the issue. This will be a collaborative effort, with you providing the expertise about yourself and your own mind while I provide the mental health expertise. You are in the driver's seat of your life, I am simply the navigator providing options for the simplest path to healing.
