If you are struggling with issues of identity, I am here for you. If you are struggling with relationships, I am here for you. If you are overwhelmed by the existential dread that comes with being a person on this earth and in this time, I am here for you.
My Background and Approach
Change requires effort; I am here to support that effort by creating a warm and inviting space for you to be (or figure out how to be) your most authentic self. I seek to understand each of my clients within their specific context so that I may attune myself to them and perhaps offer more avenues for change. I love working with families and couples because substantial change happens even more quickly when the entire system is involved. I am also a bleeding heart for work with teens. I want to emphasize that there is nothing more important in therapy than good fit. I can offer all sorts of tools and skills, but if there is not understanding and trust between us, it will do no good. If you think we could be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out! I strive to create an open and welcoming space for all persons. It is an honor for me to work with people who experience and are experienced by the world differently than me - whether that be through a difference in identity, body, gender, race, cultural background, or any of the multitudes of ways we differ from each other. I acknowledge that your lived experiences are true and have meaning and value to you and to our work together.
