About My Clients
I work primarily with the LGBTQIA+ community. This work sometimes includes specific phases of life that are unique to the queer community, such as coming out or transitioning. Other times, the work includes issues that can affect anyone, regardless of one's sexual orientation or gender identity. These issues could include relational conflict, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, career exploration, personal growth, divorce, parenting, etc.
My Background and Approach
My master's is in Marriage and Family Therapy. For me, this means that whether I am working with an individual, a couple, or a family, I am thinking about the systems in my client's life (i.e. the family unit, work environment, community, etc.). This systemic lens allows me to help you through your journey in a way that is not isolated to you, but sees you both as an individual and as part of a system or community. If you are looking to become a healthier and more authentic version of yourself, I would be honored to journey alongside you in the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are worthy of dignity and respect. Everyone is welcome at my practice without judgement, regardless or race, gender, sexual orientation, ability level, size, age, ethnicity, religion, neurotype, or relationship status.
