About My Clients
I am passionate about care serving my rainbow community. I see LGBTQIA+ individuals, neuro-diverse individuals, and people struggling with anxiety and recovery from trauma. I believe that our relationships have the most capability to heal and we can't do that alone. I work to provide my clients with a healing space through person-centered, trauma-informed, narrative and feminist approaches.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BA in Journalism in 2018. I then graduated from Northwest University with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 with a practicum/internship experience with LifeWire in Bellevue. There, I helped survivors of intimate partner violence stabilize their lives and gain help from their communities. After that, I worked in group private practice as an associate therapist for three years learning play therapy, creative arts integrated therapy techniques and developmental psychology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, am neurodivergent, and have some experience with health and physical ability limitations. I am currently Agnostic but have a rich background and understanding in multiple faiths, faith transitions, and religious trauma.
