Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York

About My Clients

I am passionate about supporting clients who are questioning their identities and hoping to live in greater alignment with their personal values to lead the most authentic life possible. I have ample experience working with QTPOC, TGNC folks, as well as young adults navigating the transition out of school, dating in the city, and finding passion in their career.

My Background and Approach

I have a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. During my training as a therapist, I worked in an attachment-based intervention clinic providing individual and family therapy to families involved with Administration of Child Services. Since transitioning into private practice, I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and couples coping with anxiety and depression, healing from intergenerational trauma, and exploring their gender and cultural identities. My therapeutic style is psychodynamic and relational. I support my clients in exploring the role that past experiences and relationship dynamics have played on their mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I often utilize techniques rooted in Existential Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. I encourage the use of humor and creativity to help clients connect with their inner child, reframe unhelpful cognitive and behavioral patterns, and embrace authenticity.
