My Background and Approach
I am collaborative, conversational, directive, and bring humor in my sessions. I use a trauma informed lens to help you better understand how the body responds to stress/safety so that you develop curiosity and self-compassion vs. shame and guilt. My approach utilizes CBT, ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Solutions Focused therapy, and relational therapy. While beginning therapy can often feel intimidating, I want you to feel confident starting with an initial consultation call. I will uphold a welcoming therapeutic space to learn of the shame, pain, and wounding potential clients have experienced.
