My Background and Approach
Our therapy approach is integrative, blending evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and multiple other forms of therapy that are highly effective in treating PTSD, trauma, shame, and helping with life transition. ADHD, Autism, self esteem, shame, depression, anxiety, relationships, women's health, and men's issues are all things that we cover.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are deeply committed to promoting well-being and social justice in our wider community. I am an active advocate for mental health awareness, a passionate supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and actively involved in initiatives aimed at increasing access to mental health services for underrepresented populations. My work and beliefs are also closely aligned with the Black Lives Matter movement, reflecting my commitment to anti-racism and social equity. We also support a number of non-profits in the community such as ASHwell, OutYouth, LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Austin Clubhouse, as well as SAFE.
