If you are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts, call 1-800-273-8255 or 911 for help.
Suicidal thoughts, also known as suicidal ideation, means thinking about or planning suicide. Suicidal thoughts are typically in response to feeling that there is no solution to current problem or no end in sight to current pain. Suicidal thoughts are common – many people experience them at some point. However, these thoughts are temporary and passing in nature. If you are having recurrent suicidal thoughts, it likely won’t get better on its own. It’s important to remember that suicide is preventable. Even the most chronic suicidal thoughts and feelings can be resolved with time and support. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s suicidal thoughts experts today. If you are in immediate danger of hurting yourself, call 1-800-273-8255 or 911 for help.

Addictions often originate from deeper underlying issues such as trauma/PTSD, chronic pain, psychosis, anxiety, and depression. I want to help you accomplish *whatever* goals/values that are uniquely important to you. Are you not sure what your goals or values are? No worries, we can work together to find out what these are. I genuinely want to help you put the hard work of therapy into achieving real growth.

I specialize in working with people struggling with issues related to: family of origin, depression, grief and loss, mortality and aging, relationships, significant life changes, and health struggles. In the span of my career, I have also been an educator (which helped form many of my ideas about psychotherapy). Additionally, I have worked with foster families, hospice patients and their families, older adults, couples, and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
