Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.
Sometimes, we can get so overwhelmed that we're not quite sure where to go or what to do to make things feel better. I want you to know that you've taken the wonderful first step to come here, and I applaud you for doing that. Sometimes, seeking help can be equally challenging as finding it. I hope to be able to assist you in handling these difficult struggles so they don't become insurmountable.

I work with clients to help them understand and heal from the legacy of trauma. My clients come to me having experienced a wide array of symptoms that can range from difficulties with the ability to trust others to feelings of anxiety or hyper-vigilance to feelings of hopelessness. Many of my clients may be experiencing difficulties with attention, bouts of depression or irritability, as well as struggling with feelings of shame and unworthiness, and perhaps a loss of interest in life.

Clients often tell me that they are struggling with who they are and who they want to be. They get stuck doing the same familiar things and getting the same painful outcomes: dating the same type of partner; getting into the same arguments; working the same job, feeling that same isolation, that same lack of connection, that same ambient-anxiety. I work with patients .I work with patients to understand and decalcify these patterns as well as the deep mental structures that sustain them.

Grief can impact every aspect of life: relationships, behaviors, thoughts and emotions. Emotional pain can make you dread going to sleep, waking up, eating and even interacting with loved ones. Losing a loved one, having a life dream shattered or learning something about yourself or a family member that shakes you to the core can feel incredibly isolating. But major losses in life can also open doors to big transformations. That's what therapy is for, it can help you get to the other side.

I have had the honor of working with survivors of violence, especially those impacted by sexual assault, offering trauma-informed support. I specialize in grief and loss, particularly when that loss is tied to trauma. My work extends to young adults facing the complexities of emerging adulthood and professionals experiencing burnout, offering guidance through life transitions, self-discovery, and the healing process. I honor the full spectrum of your identity and history in our healing journey.

At Resilience Lab, my clients are curious about understanding themselves on a deeper level, exploring the past experiences and relationship patterns shaping their present. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly how you want to change. A willingness to reflect and try new approaches to relationships can be a powerful first step in creating meaningful transformation.

I specialize in working with individuals, especially children, adolescents, and young adults, to navigate the challenges of depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, trauma, disordered eating, and self-esteem. I have a particular passion for serving the LGBTQIA+ community, and work from a queer- and gender- affirming approach embracing identity and sexuality exploration.

At Resilience Lab many of my clients are searching for their place in the world and struggling with big and small questions alike. They might be exploring themselves or they might be having trouble coping with anxiety or handling relationship issues. My belief is that all questions- large and small- are worth exploring thoughtfully. My goal is to help clients gain a deeper sense of insight and purpose while doing so.

I help clients accept reality as it is, to be themselves and to enjoy being themselves. Internal harmony is essential to human happiness. In sessions, clients discover the totality of their personhood, come to appreciate being alive, to thrive rather than to simply survive. By making space for their inner selves, my clients come away from therapy with the ability to live life authentically.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck. At times, these feelings may affect your work, relationships, or self-esteem. It's possible that you do not know why you feel this way, but you would like to learn more about how your mind works. At Resilience Lab I help people stay centered and connected to themselves as they move into new life stages. During these times, our relationships and identities often come into focus, especially when it comes to forming new friendships, changing family structures, or starting a new romantic relationship. In our work together, we’ll explore all the intersecting parts of your identity and focus on ways to build healthy, nourishing connections with the people around you.

At Resilience Lab I work with individuals who carry this struggle as they face issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also love working with young millennials or any young adults experiencing “quarter-life crises”. Having immigrated to the US, I'm also able to work with immigrants who are dealing with culture shock. Sometimes, you don't want to have to explain everything to your therapist. If you want a therapist who gets it- the culture, the norms, the transition- let’s work together.

At Resilience Lab I work with a diverse group of clients who are seeking support handling trauma, conflict, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. The therapeutic process will help you understand yourself more deeply, and to accept your unique experiences in a non-judgmental, caring way. I will work alongside you to recognize patterns of your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. We will then work to challenge negative patterns and create new healthy ones.

I work with queer-identifying individuals—either creative or corporate in their pursuits—who are searching for purpose, feeling stuck, or looking for more than just a “quick fix.” My patients are invited to use their voice, be heard, and explore what’s on their mind. Ultimately, they come out of therapy with a deeper understanding of themselves and tools to make meaningful adjustments in their day-to-day life.

At Resilience Lab my clients include women of color from diverse backgrounds who are struggling with self love, self esteem, colorism, hair stigma, cultural adjustment, religious identity, and intersectionality. Women of color are hit the hardest with race-related stress, and yet they seldom have the proper resources or tools to heal. In my practice, I help clients disrupt the intergenerational trauma that continues impacting them.
