Body image is how you see yourself when you picture yourself in your mind or when look in the mirror. Most people worry about how we look occasionally or see at least one aspect of our physical appearance we don’t like. But for some, these occasional thoughts can become frequent and disruptive. People with negative body image issues may avoid social situations and experience problems in relationships, depression, anger, anxiety, isolation, self-loathing and/or an obsession with weight loss. Body Dysmorphic Disorder (or BDD) is one example of a body-image disorder, characterized by persistent and intrusive preoccupations with an imagined or slight defect in one's appearance. The good news is that body image can be changed and BDD can be treated. Contact one of TherapyDen’s body image issues experts for help today!

Therapy is a collaborative process, which begins by building a genuine and authentic relationship. Together we will explore the complexities and nuances of your life in order to identify your goals for the future. Throughout my experience, I have worked with a wide range of people of various backgrounds and ages who have struggled with grief, depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship concerns, and navigating LGBTQ+ identities.
Online Therapy
Clients I've worked with vary from depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, family conflict, and relationship concerns. The process allows you to enhance your quality of life through the process of discovery, exploration, and insight into experiences that have shaped you, address the presenting problems, and find more effective tools to navigate oncoming life and realities.
Often folks come to see me who have complexities about their histories and relationships. I'm an EMDR therapist and complex is my thing. You might have lingering family dynamics that still show up in your current relationships or trauma that hasn't been addressed that's literally sucking the air out of the room. There is help and change is possible.

I accompany you on your journey to harness your creativity, power, and motivation. I will be with you in your pain and your joy. I prefer swimming in the deep waters: exploring the bigger questions around the meaning of life and death, how to find and maintain fulfilling relationships, how to thrive in our precious, finite time here.

Clients who find me tend to be seeking a place to unpack current difficulties, identify problem areas and explore previous emotional injuries. Clients tend to stay to gain understanding, develop self awareness and take control where they feel disempowered. I work with clients of different gender identities, relationship structures, sexualities, economic and occupational backgrounds.

At Resilience Lab, I work best with individuals who are ready to not only explore their inner landscapes but also bring what they’ve learned into their daily lives. I support adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem. With a focus on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, I approach each session with cultural competence, respecting and embracing the identities that shape my clients’ experiences.

They are open to growth and new perspectives, struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-doubt, and stress. At Resilience Lab I work with clients experiencing relationship strain stemming from anxiety, depression, or stressful life transitions. You might be dealing with conflict at work, learning to set healthy boundaries with your family, or figuring out how to express your feelings and needs in an intimate partnership.
Online Therapy
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck. At times, these feelings may affect your work, relationships, or self-esteem. It's possible that you do not know why you feel this way, but you would like to learn more about how your mind works. You want to find purpose, understand your past and your relationships, and learn how to navigate your world better. You would like to be: a more confident, more relaxed, happier version of yourself.
Online Therapy
At Resilience Lab my clients include women of color from diverse backgrounds who are struggling with self love, self esteem, colorism, hair stigma, cultural adjustment, religious identity, and intersectionality. Women of color are hit the hardest with race-related stress, and yet they seldom have the proper resources or tools to heal. In my practice, I help clients disrupt the intergenerational trauma that continues impacting them.
Online Therapy
My clients are people who want more from life and are ready to shed the limiting beliefs holding them back from being the most confident version of themselves. Throughout life, we learn defense mechanisms and poor coping strategies that keep our authenticity and inner spark locked deep inside of us. By going to therapy, you can dig through layers of programming that leave your true self boxed in, rewrite the stories that keep you small, and find the inner fuel for making the most out of life.
Online Therapy
I guide people feeling out of balance toward a sense of calm and clarity. My clients might be exploring their relationship with substances, seeking more work-life balance, or looking for a more embodied way to manage stress and anxiety than traditional talk therapy can offer.

I work with people who feel alienated, or like they don't belong. Addiction, substance use disorders, and trauma are special interests of mine. Since I’m a queer therapist with a mixed background, I also align well with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, or who are struggling with their cultural identities. As a result of therapy, my clients feel more connected to themselves, to their communities, and to the world around them.
Online Therapy
I work with individuals facing life transitions, an overwhelming amount of stress, and a desire for self-improvement. Clients who are looking for a supportive space where they can navigate challenges, build resilience, and regain control of their lives will find a safe, comfortable place to start working towards those goals.
Online Therapy
I work with individuals from all walks of life who are experiencing family issues, dealing with past trauma, navigating gender identity, work stress, and general life challenges. I also have experience working with clients who have struggled with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and PTSD.
