About My Clients
I specialize in clientele with pediatric anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and youth experiencing depression. With a background in behavioural therapy for children ages 2-14, I am knowledgable about ASD, OCD, and GAD. I am passionate about helping kids and teens feel empowered to take their mental health into their own hands. Additionally, with a dua-degree in Gender and Social Justice, I am equipped to work with queer youth.
My Background and Approach
My experiences as a mentor to adolescent girls through the BeYOUtiful Foundation and my work with children who have experienced school-related traumas have reinforced my commitment to supporting clients who have survived hardships beyond their control and guiding them toward personal growth. My personal style is open and always judgment free. I will meet you where you are and walk with you as you move toward your therapeutic goals. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Trent University in Ontario, Canada, with a concentration in Gender and Social Justice. I am currently entering my final year of a MA in Counseling at Northwestern University and am specializing in counseling with children and adolescents. Prior to beginning my work at Hartman Counseling + Consulting I worked with young adults through The Family Institute as they navigate through anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress.
