About My Clients
I am so glad you are here. Choosing to work on yourself is not easy. My clients inspire me with their courage to seek help and their willingness to work hard to improve their lives. I would be honored to partner with you to help you reach your goals. My approach has been described as warm, open, and collaborative. I use various evidence-based interventions, which are treatments shown to be effective via research. I’d love to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call with you.
My Background and Approach
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University and licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in delivering evidence-based treatments to adults and adolescents. I have specialized training in the treatment of stress, mood, anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, body image and disordered eating, and multicultural diversity. I also have experience working with clients on topics such as effective communication and interpersonal relationships, life transitions, identity, and grief/loss. I have provided individual and group treatment in general mental health clinics, specialty clinics in PTSD, eating disorders, and AAPI populations, and high school settings. In addition to clinical work, I supervise graduate students and have conducted research in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments. I have published my research in peer-reviewed journal articles and presented my work at national and international conferences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome people of any race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, size, ability level, age, country of origin, religion, belief, culture, and identity.
