My Background and Approach
As a multiracial person of color myself, my racial identity is a lens thru which I see the work and how I show up in the therapeutic space. I use an Integrative therapy model, combining various therapeutic tools and approaches to best meet your needs. I have a special interest in processing through grief for those who have experienced loss of any kind. I utilize calm, reflective listening, somatic awareness, social justice and systems focus, and a strengths-based approach. My goal is to help you to to process through emotions and experiences that feel challenging to face and sort through on your own. I believe that all behavior has a function, meaning it has a purpose and source, and that our earliest attachments and experiences shape us today.
