About My Clients
Do you often find yourself overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, constantly worrying about what the future holds? Are these thoughts causing anxiety or making it difficult to focus on the present moment? You're not alone. These challenges are more common than you might think, but with the right support, they can be managed and transformed.
My Background and Approach
My approach integrates CBT and Narrative Therapy to help clients challenge negative thought patterns and reshape their personal narratives. With CBT, I work with clients to identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, teaching them skills to reframe and replace these patterns with healthier, more adaptive ones. This helps them manage anxiety, depression, and other emotional struggles effectively. Through Narrative Therapy, I guide clients in exploring their life stories, externalizing problems, and redefining their identities. By viewing issues as separate from the self, clients can gain a sense of agency and empowerment in rewriting their personal narratives. Combining these therapies allows clients to not only reframe their thinking but also regain control over their life stories, fostering greater self-awareness, resilience, and healing. Whether working with teens, adults, or those facing specific challenges, this integrative approach provides practical tools and emotional support
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a collaborative, healing process where clients are empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Every individual is unique, and therapy should honor their personal story while fostering growth and resilience. I value the importance of empathy, respect, and active listening in building trust. My goal is to support clients in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and lasting change that promotes overall well-being.
