About My Clients
Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, and restless? Do you often feel depressed, un-motivated and frustrated? You just want to “be happy” but don’t know what that looks like anymore. Are experiencing a difficult life-transition or you are struggling with unprocessed past traumas that need witnessing and compassion. You don't have to do this alone. Integrative approaches to therapy allow you to greatly reduce suffering and empower you to move forward. I look forward to supporting you as heal.
My Background and Approach
I have experience in a variety of subjects. My back ground includes psychiatric nursing, individual therapy, crisis intervention, art therapy, and group work. Special areas of focus include life transitions, anxiety, depression, post-partum, self-esteem issues, culture related experiences, LQBTQ, single parenthood, life coaching, relationship issues, and trauma. I enjoy working with a variety of people, with a special focus on those who identify as Native American or multi-cultural. My approach is warm, empathic, and client-centered. I am also very practical and straight-forward, a trait I attribute to my experience as a psychiatric nurse. I create a safe, welcoming space for my clients to express themselves and heal. I use authenticity and humor to connect with those that I work with and ensure that our work together is moving a pace that is comfortable for my client. Along with empathy and understanding I provide motivation and accountability as I value the progress of my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that personal development is the greatest gift you can give yourself. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth and I am always impressed by my client's journey. I know that change is possible as I have witnessed in both my client's lives and mine. I continue to engage in my own healing journey as I learn to heal my own wounds and manage my anxiety. I am always inspired by people I work with and look forward to hearing from you.
