My Background and Approach
With warmth and humor, I offer a down-to-earth, non-judgmental space. Together, we can build awareness of your full experience and practice gentleness/compassion toward self. We can discover how your patterns connect to both current hardships and old wounds. If requested, we can integrate less verbal expression: mindfulness, art, dream work, nature connection. Drawing upon your innate healing powers, we can transform patterns that no longer serve you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all of our healing is connected. In my view, this includes the natural world and the ancestral/spirit realms. Rooted in that sense of interconnection, I practice with cultural humility and a commitment to unlearning systems of oppression. I believe that community, joy, pleasure, beauty, mystery, and rest are integral parts of social justice. I believe the ways we move through the world are reflective of how we've learned to survive and do the best we can. My own experiences with trauma and ongoing healing give depth to that belief.
