About My Clients
My clients come from all walks of life, each with their own unique experiences, identities, and stories. What they share is a desire to deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships, particularly when it comes to intimacy, sexuality, and connection. Many of my clients are folx who seek a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their sexual concerns, whether they involve mismatched desires, sexual trauma, identity questions, or simply a wish to enrich their sex.
My Background and Approach
Together, we can process your concerns and work towards creating realistic and sustainable change. I believe that therapist and client are partners in the therapeutic process. It is my intention to provide services that will assist you in reaching your goals. Throughout therapy, I am going to promote personal, sexual, and relational wellness. I use holistic approach, this means that I work with the mind, body, relationships, social, sexual and medical history. I utilize these aspects to help my clients reach a better understanding of their lives and sexuality. I have a systemic background, which means I view people and their behavior within the larger context such as their families, cultures, and society. I will consider the impact of your relationships, past and present, on the issues you face, and I will consider the well being of others in your life as we work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, compassionate, and free of judgment. I am passionate about supporting individuals and relationships in embracing their authentic selves, particularly in areas of sexuality, intimacy, and identity. As a queer-affirming and sex-positive therapist, I strive to provide a safe space for 2SLGBTQ+ folx, those in polyamorous or consensually non-monogamous relationships, ministers, and people of all genders and sexual orientations to explore their desires and navigate challenges. I am committed to working from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the impact of systemic oppression, cultural messages, and personal experiences on one’s relationship with sex and self. In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also a passionate sexuality educator and supervisor, dedicated to helping other professionals build skills in this important area. I believe that access to accurate, inclusive, and shame-free sex education is our right.
