About My Clients

Have you always been anxious? Have you always felt like maybe everybody else had a better grip on life than you do? Do you also feel that others have it worse, so there isn't really a space for you to talk about your issues? Do you ever feel like an outsider? I love working with folks who deal with anxiety, stress, depression, and not fitting in. I'm neurodivergent and enjoy working with individuals who are neurodivergent themselves or think they might be. I'm also part of the LGBTQ+ community.

My Background and Approach

I'm one of those people that knows what lifelong anxiety is like. I know what it's like to suffer from it, but also to feel like I can't afford to let it go, because it's what's keeping me safe. I know what's it's like to do the work myself. When I work with clients, we work as a team to make sense of the past and present and to move forward into the future. I got my start in mental health as a sexual assault victim advocate. I'm trauma-informed, neurodivergent, and part of the LGBTQ+ community.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our brains and our bodies are on our team and want to help us toward healing. We can often feel in opposition with those things, like they're trying to sabotage us, but counseling is a place to learn to befriend your mind and body and get on the same page.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
