The World feels like a crazy place right now. So many external pulls and stressors. Now, more than ever, is the time to go inward and to the work to deepen our relationship with Self so that we have the tolerance and resiliency to manage what the World throws at us, and be happy and peaceful while doing it.
My Background and Approach
How's your relationship with yourself? Relationships can bring us joy, and connection, and opportunities to grow. We talk to friends and loved ones, spend time with them, and we care for them. How much time do you spend deepening your relationship with yourself? Do you pay attention to how you talk to yourself, how you spend time with yourself, how you care for your Self? It is my experience both personally and professionally that when we spend time working on our relationship with Self, not only do we become happier, and more peaceful internally- our external relationships with others improve as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Barbara utlizes Mindfulness, Meditation and CBT as tools to manage symptoms related to mood and general well-being. Jungian Shadow Work, IFS techniques, and psychedelic integration are utilized to address deep, root-cause issues. Barbara also specializes in work around healing the mother-wound.
