My ideal clients are individuals who are seeking a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore their emotions, overcome challenges, and work toward positive change. I work best with clients who are motivated to better understand themselves and make meaningful improvements in their lives, whether that’s through managing stress, navigating anxiety, healing from past trauma, or improving their relationships. I have experience working with a diverse range of populations.
My Background and Approach
Whether you're grappling with a major life change, struggling with overwhelming emotions, or simply need someone to talk to, I am here to offer support and guidance every step of the way. Together, we will work to uncover your inner strengths, address your unique challenges, and build a path forward that feels right for you. I initially specialized in outpatient substance abuse treatment in 2017 and have since broadened my expertise to include mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. I also hold a specialized license in addiction treatment. In my practice, I embrace evidence-based approaches like person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Each method is thoughtfully chosen to suit your unique needs. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and find balance in their lives. My practice is rooted in empathy, inclusion, and understanding. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life, and I pride myself on creating a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. I am an advocate for mental health awareness and inclusivity, and I actively support causes that promote equal rights, social justice, and emotional well-being. Whether it's through supporting the LGBTQ+ community, championing racial equity, or advocating for mental health initiatives, I strive to be an ally and use my platform to uplift marginalized voices. Outside of my practice, I spend a lot of time with the LGBTQ+ population and spend time with friends. My favorite relaxing hobby is watching television and snuggling on coach with my dog. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported, no matter where you are in your journey.
