About My Clients
It can be hard to connect with a therapist, especially with a number of stressors piling up in day-to-day life. Sometimes what brings you to therapy is more than the hamster wheel of life and something really awful has happened. I specialize in treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I hope to create a space of connection, especially for people of color, women, and queer individuals.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from University of La Verne and has a variety of experiences working with children, families, and individuals throughout their lifespan. I work collaboratively with clients to assist them in moving towards healing and integration, acknowledging and validating the struggles along the way while also reorienting clients towards their strengths. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I create the time and space in session for you to be your authentic self, acknowledging how all aspects of self, including ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and disabilities, play a role in how you move through the world, humbly seeking to provide culturally competent services. I strongly believes each individual is filled with potential for growth and joy.
